Though Elderberry currently has no homes available,
we are still open by appointment for visitiors.
we are still open by appointment for visitiors.
We do not know when houses will become available, but we always list them here,
on our Facebook page and in our e-newsletter. Here are some answers to FAQ:
At Elderberry, there are 18 one-bedroom, energy-efficient, attached homes. They are in five duplexes and two quadraplexes.
The largest homes are approximately 1200 square feet. There are nine of these homes and they all have a second floor. The largest “footprint” for a one-story home is 1000 square feet, though most are smaller, including a 325 square foot “tiny house”.
Most homes have only one bathroom, though a few of the 1200 homes have a half- or full-bath upstairs. The homes are all-electric. Each home has a small “yard” in front of and behind the house. Most homes are owner-occupied, though there have been long-term rentals (5+ years).
Elderberry does not use a realtor; all sales are handled internally by Elderberry and the homeowners.
Our homes are available to buyers who have completed their Elderberry membership process. This includes attendance at a minimum of one work day and one business meeting, which are held on the second Saturday of every month.
